Faith Ambassadors
Four of our Faith Ambassadors with Bishop Richard at the Diocesan Good Shepherd celebration
‘You too, dear young people, can be joyful witnesses of His love, courageous witnesses of His Gospel, carrying to this world a ray of light.’
Pope Francis
Being part of a Catholic school community is very special. Our Faith Ambassadors are children from Years 5 and 6 who pray together, work together and have lots of fun whilst discovering more about their faith.
Supported by one of our teachers, Miss King, they are an active and dedicated team, who play a vital role in enhancing the Catholic Life of our school. They have a desire to deepen their own faith and to share the teachings of Jesus with others through their faith and action.
The aim of our Faith Ambassadors
To support and develop the Catholic Life and Mission of our school.
To encourage everyone to share the ‘Good News’ and to ‘love and serve the Lord.’
To listen to each other and to be good role models to others.
Faith Ambassadors encourage everyone to remember how important it is to help, support and care for those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We enjoy supporting charities locally, nationally and internationally as well as being fully involved in our local community through work with our parish or local care homes.
