Welcome to Year 5

Over the year, the children will discover the world around them and cultivate values that extend beyond the classroom. Our essential themes will guide the children towards understanding their role in making the world a better place. Through instilling a sense of responsibility in the children, we will help them to nurture their gift of wisdom that lies within them.

They will explore across the curriculum what the following concepts mean to them:

• Friendship 
• Hope 
• Resourcefulness 
• Giving 
• Conservation 

As the children near the end of Year 5, our aim is for them to feel empowered to make choices which have a positive impact on the world.
